Who this plan is for

You run a small business with 2–4 exterior doors. Maybe a dental office in Lone Tree. A boutique retail shop off Broadway in DTC. A Highlands Ranch cafe with a rear alley door for deliveries. An insurance office with a back exit for staff. A salon that just took over a second suite.

Turnover happens — a hygienist leaves, a retail associate moves on, a barista's last shift is Friday. Every time it happens, you know you should rekey those exterior doors. And every time you flinch, because a one-off commercial rekey at 4 cylinders runs $185–$275 and you have to phone-tree a locksmith at 5 PM on a Friday to get someone out Monday morning.

Small Biz Lock Care is designed to make that flinch go away. $39 a month, unlimited rekeys during covered turnover events, quarterly compliance visits so your fire marshal and insurance adjuster stay off your back, and 24-hour lockout coverage for anyone on your authorized-caller list. When you or your team calls, you get Sarah — not a dispatcher.

Everything included at $39/mo

All prices in USD. Cancel any time. First-month pro-rated. Net-30 invoicing available on request.

Employee-turnover rekey packages

Up to 4 covered turnover events per year. Each event covers all your exterior doors — unlimited cylinders per event. We dispatch same-day (usually same-hour) with a written before/after log for your HR file.

Common trigger events: employee departure, contractor completion, key loss, ownership change, security-incident response.

Quarterly compliance check

Once every three months, a technician walks your business and checks: panic bar function, exit sign visibility, ADA hardware compliance, fire-code door swing direction, key-control inventory. Written report emailed within 24 hours.

Insurance adjusters and fire marshals love it. So do you when it's renewal season.

Panic bar & exit device servicing

Von Duprin, Yale, Sargent, Cal-Royal panic bars all serviced under the plan. We lubricate mechanisms, verify latch throw, check dogging function, and swap worn strike plates.

If a panic bar fails inspection, we quote replacement at 20% off — usually $180–$320 depending on the model.

24-hour lockout coverage for your team

Any employee on your authorized-caller list can trigger a 24-hour lockout using your membership ID. After-hours surcharge is waived. Priority dispatch always.

You control the authorized-caller list — add or remove staff any time by phone or email.

Also included: annual master-key system audit, written service log emailed after every visit, priority same-hour dispatch on any service call, 20% off any new hardware installs, and Sarah's direct-dial number so you never wade through a phone tree during a real problem.

Case Study · Dental office · Lone Tree, CO

"We turn over 4-5 clinical staff a year. This plan pays for itself twice over."

Dr. Priya S. runs a 4-chair general dentistry practice near Lincoln Ave and I-25 in Lone Tree. Three exterior doors: main patient entrance, back door for staff and deliveries, and a side clinical entrance used by the imaging tech.

Before enrolling, Priya was paying $205 per rekey event on 3 doors, times 4-5 events per year — call it $900–$1,000 annually. Plus a $95 emergency lockout fee when their office manager arrived at 6:30 AM one Saturday without keys before an insurance audit visit.

After enrolling in Small Biz at $39/mo ($468/year) she gets: 4 covered turnover rekeys, quarterly compliance visits that satisfy her Colorado dental-practice board inspection requirement, 24-hour lockout coverage for herself and her office manager, and a written service log her insurance broker attaches to renewals each year.

Net saving in year one: roughly $530, plus the compliance visits which she was previously ignoring because her old locksmith wouldn't schedule them.

"The quarterly compliance report is the single most useful thing I've gotten from a vendor this year. My insurance renewal went from a 6-week ordeal to a 2-day sign-off."

"Our barista lost the back-door key on the light rail. Called at 9 PM. Rekey done before opening the next morning. That's just how it should work."

"Net-30 invoicing. Real written service logs. Same technician every quarter so he actually knows my building. That's not the norm in this trade."

Small Biz FAQ

The questions we hear most often from prospective business members.

What size business is this plan designed for?

2 to 4 exterior doors. Typical members: dental and medical offices, boutique retail, cafes, salons, insurance offices, real-estate brokerages, small law firms, franchise co-working suites.

Businesses with 5+ exterior doors usually switch to a per-door commercial portfolio plan. Call us to talk through your setup — we'll steer you to whichever plan actually saves you money.

How many employee turnovers does the plan cover per year?

Up to 4 covered turnover events per year. Each event covers all your business doors with unlimited cylinders. So if a staff member leaves and you need all 3 exterior doors rekeyed, that's one event, all cylinders included.

Additional events beyond 4 in the same year are billed at member-discount rates (roughly $85 per event for 3-4 doors — about 55% off standard commercial rekey pricing).

In practice, most Small Biz members trigger 2–3 events per year. The 4-event ceiling exists to keep the plan sustainable for the 5% of members with heavy churn.

What does the quarterly compliance check actually include?

Every 90 days (roughly Jan, Apr, Jul, Oct) a CDL technician walks your business for 30–45 minutes and checks:

  • Panic bar function on any exit devices (Von Duprin, Yale, Sargent, Cal-Royal)
  • Exit sign visibility and illumination
  • ADA-compliant lever handles and door-open force
  • Fire-code correct door swing direction
  • Key control inventory — who has which key, are any unaccounted for
  • Smart lock and access-control system health if applicable

You receive a written PDF report by email within 24 hours. Save it, forward it to your insurance broker, hand it to your fire marshal at renewal — it makes those conversations 90% shorter.

Do you handle net-30 invoicing?

Yes. Small Biz members can request net-30 invoicing on any covered or add-on service. We invoice through QuickBooks Online and integrate with your AP system on request — we currently deliver invoices via email PDF, Bill.com, and Melio.

Card on file is also available if you prefer auto-pay.

Does the plan cover 24-hour lockouts for staff?

Yes — for anyone on your authorized-caller list. You maintain that list; add or remove staff any time by emailing us. Common setups: owner + office manager + one shift lead.

When an authorized caller triggers a lockout using your business membership ID, they get: priority dispatch (usually 25-45 minute response depending on time of day), waived after-hours surcharge, and no charge for the trip itself — only pay-per-visit rates on any actual work if it's outside covered scope.

Note: our staffed hours are 7 AM to midnight. True after-midnight response is available but ideally reserved for genuine emergencies (staff locked out with product inventory inside, security incident, etc.).
