Standard residential service runs $85–$185 (lockout, rekey, lock change). Commercial work $145–$385. Automotive $125–$485 depending on key type. We charge a $25 service-call fee that is waived if you proceed with service. After-hours pricing is the same as daytime — no surge.
What is your average response time?
Highlands Ranch core: 15–25 minutes. Centennial / Lone Tree / Castle Pines: 25–35 minutes. Parker / Castle Rock / Littleton / Englewood: 30–40 minutes. Denver / Lakewood / Arvada / Westminster: 35–55 minutes. Colorado Springs by appointment only.
What are your hours and after-hours policy?
We are open 7:00 AM to midnight, seven days a week. After 10 PM we still send a real locksmith — no third-party dispatch. Holiday and weekend pricing is identical to weekday daytime pricing. We do not surge.
Do you handle smart locks like Yale Assure, Schlage Encode, and August?
Yes — installation, retrofit, pairing, multi-user code setup, integration with WiFi and home automation. We are an authorized dealer for Schlage Encode and Yale Assure. We will also tell you honestly when a smart lock is not the right choice for your situation.
Can you program a transponder key or a modern push-to-start key fob?
Yes for most makes 1996 or newer, including Toyota, Honda, Ford, Chevy, Nissan, Hyundai, Kia, Mazda, Subaru, Volkswagen, BMW, Mercedes, Audi, and Tesla (key card replacement). On-site cutting and ECU programming. Some European luxury VINs require dealer-only programming — we will tell you up front and charge nothing for the trip in those cases.
Do you accept insurance, AAA, or USAA roadside?
We provide itemized invoices for homeowner-insurance and renter-insurance claims. We are not contracted with AAA or USAA roadside dispatch, but you can pay us directly and seek reimbursement from your provider — many plans cover locksmith service.
Do you offer net-30 invoicing for landlords and property managers?
Yes. After a portfolio walkthrough call we set up monthly itemized invoicing per property and per unit. Compatible with AppFolio, Buildium, Yardi, Rent Manager, and QuickBooks. See our landlord locksmith page for details.
Are you licensed, bonded, and insured?
Colorado does not require a state locksmith license, but we are bonded and insured at $2M general liability + $1M auto. Certificate of insurance available on request. Founded April 2011, registered with Colorado Secretary of State (Entity ID 20111234567).
What payment methods do you accept?
Cash, all major credit cards (Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover), Venmo, Zelle, and Apple Pay / Google Pay tap-to-pay. Net-30 invoicing for landlord and commercial accounts after agreement.
Will my locks be damaged during a lockout?
No. We use professional damage-free entry tools (lock picks, bypass tools, slim-jim alternatives, automotive air wedges). 99% of lockouts open without any damage. In the rare case where damage cannot be avoided (broken cylinder, jammed deadbolt), we discuss options before any drilling.
Do you offer free estimates?
Yes for phone consultations and most on-site visits. Complex jobs (master key system design, multi-property portfolio onboarding, custom hardware orders) may require a paid site survey credited toward the work.
What is your warranty?
All labor warrantied 90 days. Hardware we supply is covered by manufacturer warranty (typically 1–10 years depending on product). Smart locks include a 1-year setup support guarantee.
